That's right, Pub Stars™ the UK's biggest and best independent karaoke competition is back with a bang! Bigger, better and stronger than ever before with fantastic prizes and great incentives to enter your pub.
Now in it's fourth year Pub Stars is back with fantastic prize money up for grabs for both the winning singer and the winning pub.
Pub Stars™ National Karaoke Competition 2008 is brought to you by Mediatheme™ the UK's leader in touch screen entertainment. The aim of the competition is to find a star, that person who gets up and entertains the drinkers in your venue week after week. If you think you have a hidden talent in your venue - Pub Stars™ is for you.
Pub Stars™ is designed to maximise your profits over the winter months. The first stage of the competition is managed by you. Run heats each week during January-May with your own in-house final. The more nights you run the more publicity you gain resulting in more customers through the door.
Your star then goes on to represent your venue at the regional heats in June-July, with the Grand Final being held in September.

Looking back at 2007!
The Pub Stars National Karaoke Competition 2007 came to a spectacular finale at The Park Hall Hotel, Camelot in Preston - way back in May 2007. After tough Regional Finals – the 10 Grand Finalists came together to compete for the Championship of Pub Stars 2007, with the chance of winning £3000 and to cut their own commemorative gold disc in Easy Karaoke’s studio. The Atmosphere was amazing with a roar of cheers after each performance. All singers rose to the occasion and gave their best performances to date – the judges had their work cut out!

After careful deliberation the 5 judges chose their top stars of the evening. In reverse order, third place was awarded to Lindzie Martin representing The Railway Hotel in Dorset.
Second place went to Ms Lian Williams from The Three Horseshoes in Mid Glamorgan.
The Star of the show and the winner of Pub Stars 2007, representing Pepes in Londonderry – Stephen Barr. Stephen wowed the audience and the judges with his rendition of ‘Breath Easy by Blue’.

Pub Stars is now in full swing, with venues taking part up and down the country hosting their own opening rounds for the competition. But pubs have until May to host their own event – with a possible £1000 prize in store for the pub which puts forward the national winner.
Regionals finals will take place in June and July with the Grand Final being held at a top venue in September. The national winner gets £3000, a day in a recording studio and a gold disc of their winning performance.
